Finishing my BSc at UEA. The final-year dissertation is on agile and lean methodologies for deploying software in operational start-up contexts: what actually works, what doesn't, and where the conventional wisdom breaks down.
I'm thinking of extending the four-part Engineering Philosophy series in the archive, currently running from Cargo Cult Software Engineering through The Teacher and the Doerlink gone, The Pragmatist's Razor, up to Alive to Guess Again. Thinking of a few new essays, maybe first on people over process. Also considering what the next series should be. Probably something on the gap between engineering decisions and product decisions.
Reading DDD (again), and back through Bret Victor's older essays.
